Plugin doesn't work with latest gedit 3.2.1 #3

I follow the steps for copying the necessary files to the plugin directory:

$ cp -r pylint pylint.gedit-plugin $HOME/.gnome2/gedit/plugins

But the plugin does not appear in the list of plugins when I restart gedit.

gedit-plugin is old and should not work straightforward with new Gedit version. I'm taking a look at Gedit 3 plugins right now and will create a branch with Gedit 3 support soon.
