Peek does not writing recorded files properly with gif or apng files and crashes when trying to write mp4 files #1183

Error details:

Timeout was reached
peek does not create screen casts properly, testing against gif, apng and mpg4.
Using gif, only the first 1 second is played then the rest of the gif is frozen. 
apng has no animations
mpg4 freezes after clicking on stop recording
