Unable to record in Pop!_OS 21.04 running in the wayland session #775

This is a duplicate of https://github.com/phw/peek/issues/748#issuecomment-826306594, please try the suggested temporary solution there until one of the maintainers can come around and fix this.

for me the recording is all black, switching back to xorg made it working again

Ubuntu 21.04 on Wayland

This is a duplicate of https://github.com/phw/peek/issues/748#issuecomment-826306594, please try the suggested temporary solution there until one of the maintainers can come around and fix this.

Tried the fix, records this time but it's all just a black screen with an useless mouse pointer. I guess screen recording in wayland through pipewire isn't supported yet.
