How to include shared Google calendars in sync #1302

The sync is working fine when it's my Google calendar and my Outlook calendar. But, my Google calendar includes events shared by others. Those shared events are not appearing on my Outlook calendar. The description for OGCS says "Synchronises items in any calendar folder, including those shared with you" so wondering how to do that. To be clear, I am not trying to sync shared Outlook calendars. I am trying to sync my Google calendar which has shared Google calendar events on it. Thanks in advance.

As long as the events that have been shared with you are on the calendar you are actually syncing (invites go onto your "Default" Google calendar), then it just picks them up automatically.

Not sure this solves the problem. I use Google calendars in Chrome on a PC. I have my own CAL1 and I am able to see and post events on a shared CAL2 that was created by a colleague. When I view Google calendar I can toggle ON (check box) my primary CAL1 and the shared CAL2 and all events appear. If I toggle off CAL2 those events stop showing. Events I create in CAL1 are syncing to my Outlook calendar (both ways) but the events on CAL2 (when it is toggled ON or OFF) are not synced to my Outlook calendar, presumably because they are not actually in CAL1. So I want 2-way syncing between my Outlook calendar and CAL1 and I want 1-way syncing from CAL2 to CAL1, after which the CAL1 events will sync to my Outlook calendar.

@billlanding That's a lot of words to say you want #1307 :slightly_smiling_face:

Many Thanks!! 2.9.1.4 with multiple Profiles seems to work as expected. Initially got repeated "need admin" errors when trying to copy exe and pdb files from Downloads to User/Local/App location that were not eliminated by fixing (or caused by) any Folder Properties/Security/permissions settings. Solution that seemed to work was to disable OGCS in Startup. Maybe suggest this to novices (like me!).

@billlanding That seems rather strange - permissions on User/Local/App should be open already, as that whole folder structure is meant for the logged in user to do what they want with. OGCS can't be running when you try and replace the executable file, but otherwise it should be allowed...
