4 months ago Hi @KKraljic I've never heard of Outlook sending unwarranted meeting update emails to attendees when changes to the appointment are made programmatically; indeed, I have tried again and cannot produce this behaviour.
Note, it is only needed in Google because of the bug on their side that they refuse to fix, that when it is specifically requested not to send an email update (even in the web interface), it still does!
Do you have any evidence that an update of an Outlook item by OGCS is causing Outlook to send an email?
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. When doing a multi-hop-sync (Outlook Mailbox A --> Google Box B --> Outlook Mailbox C), I saw that I was accidentally modifying and sending invitations from Mailbox C, which was definitely not good at all.
Describe the solution you'd like To prevent accidental modifications & sent invitation, it'd be great to have a way to also cloak mails that are synced from GMail to Outlook, similar to the way as it is already implemented for GMail.
Describe alternatives you've considered There is none.
