at least on my machine <3 will be read as just "3" with <3=heart in the shortened phrases list "<", ">", ":", and "\" also don't seem to be working

windows 10, using the libritts voice pack

I have just pushed a pull request onto the plugin hub with a patch fixing this issue. The update will be with you once the runelite devs review and approve.

1.3.0 text-replacement improved (renamed from expandAbbreviations)

spaces in pattern ex:"multiple words=result with words"
special characters ex:"=_==squinty face" or "*blush*=blushing"
empty replacement ex:"delete me="

These changes will arrive with version 1.3.0
