Includes tree and phyloreferences extracted from Brochu 2003 (doi:10.1146/annurev.earth.31.100901.141308).

Should gators.ofn be in a subdirectory rather than being in a root directory, maybe docs/examples? Other than that, this looks good to me!

Possibly, but docs/ is kind of where we publish to, so for now I think it's OK to be in the root directory just as the earlier examples.
