[x] count tips on unscaled tree
[x] add "tips," e.g., "Unscaled tree (13 tips)"
[x] instead of "undetermined", just use "(?)"
[x] refresh view so that tip-count replaces "?" when the tree has been retrieved
[x] redesign so user knows these are 4 alternatives
[x] give the alternatives a name like "Tree version"

controls could be organized into blocks like this. I don't like this style but the idea is just to separate things into blocks.

Thanks @ducvan0212 this is very good. I made a mistake in my design. Because "revert" only applies to the 4 items in the "Customize view" menu, and does not apply to pictures or version, the "Revert" option needs to be in the second block.

I would suggest to put it in the title, i.e., "Customize view (revert)"

I moved the revert button to second column and made it a clickable link.
