However, phyphox translations are managed via Weblate that keeps in sync with the translation branch of this repo and for a complete translation there is another set of strings for the experiments (synchronized via a Python script and a hidden repository with the repository for the experiment definitions at https://github.com/phyphox/phyphox-experiments) and a separate translation for the iOS version which is automatically fed by Weblate except for OS-specific translations.
Long story short, I cannot just push the merge button. At best I could start a new translation in Weblate and merge it to the translation branch, so your work would not be lost.
We have several translators who created the Portuguese version and who decided not to create a separate pt-BR and pt-PT version. Unfortunately, I do not speak Portuguese myself, so can only trust their decision without knowing how much of a difference it makes.
Can you tell me what specifically you would like to fix with your pull request? Does the "generic" pt translation not show for you, is it outdated (unfortunately our voluntary translators often fall behind and need a reminder once in a while) or is it about the differences between pt-PT and pt-BR?
Depending on what it is and how you would like to proceed, I would get you in touch with our translators, give you access to the Weblate system or start a separate translation.
