Have you configured Port Forwarding on your router? Communication coming in from the internet to you router, on Ports 31400-31409, need to be forwarded to the IP address of your node PC on your home network.
Thank you .. I will get someone a little more technical to check .. I don’t think I did that … Is it easy

Hello … does this jeopardize the safety of devices at home connected to the router ? And if not .. how does one configure ? I have found in System preferences .. Network ..I see our Router and it says Configure IPV4 And IPV6 Thanks .. My son wanted to help .. then got concerned I was opening up all our devices for any outside interference .. and compromising the safety of our personal business. Thanks

you do not need to open all port or put your computer in to DMZ zone which will open all ports. Just open port 31400 to 31409.

opened ports as well in my router and my AV's Firewall ( took me a bit to find the settings ).... > https://i.imgur.com/qIThxJD.png
but Pi isn't able to ping it for..... HOURS > https://i.imgur.com/5gecZN7.png ( edited the link 🤦 posted a wrong one ) i mean... he doesnt even say "unavailabe"... its just spinning like this forever >.<
Q.Q i'm kind of clueless after the whole night spinning and retrying and restarting....
i have installed docker ...got it up and running...problem is with the Router ports... i allow the firewall to access.... it says allowing next to docker ... but in the trobleshooting it says allow next to (com.docker.backend ...is this the same ) and next to PInging your computer ...it keeps buffering ..no check mark
