does anyone successfully setup pi node based on cloud virtual machine or vps? E.g: gcp, tencent cloud, ali cloud, azure, etc.

Hi. It is somehow impossible because most of VPSs have a windows server or something else but docker only can run on normal windows

You may do it if host machine enable Nested virtualization, while this feature is always disabled by default, docker must have it to run

Nested virtualization on WSL2 is enabled by default now. Try disable via wslconfig. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/release-notes#build-20175 https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wsl/wsl-config#configure-global-options-with-wslconfig
