thank you, i have tried all instructions and restarted with no ping success. 1.port forwarding on router 2.new rule on inbound (& outbound just to make sure) port in windows firewall and windows defender if running 3.exemption in vpn just incase still no ping..

4. cmd to check listening ports not showing

Still unable to grasp a successful ping with all these steps in place. I feel it might be my secondary router... Let me see.. More will be revealed.

interesting i was unable to access my seondary router... im using it for a booster... i remeber setting it up to be a slave to my primary gateway. anyways i plugged pc directly into the primary gateway with all port forwarding enabled for pi node and when i checked port connection (listening) in node setup via pi app the app goes blank when clicking the test..

just for giggles i tried to check if ports were up and listening with cmd as the node checker is going blank....and tcp ports are listening now through pc to direct connect gateway

not seeing 31400,31404,31405,31406,31407,31408,31409 on the list.

either way my rewards went up 3X, maybe it is running?

will post update when changes occur.. i did notice that i missed a up time on the docker during mine cycle start for the day and rewards dropped back to low... will try to keep docker on during mine restart in app to see if bigger rewards come back..

couple of days now with rewards back down to node not running levels... hopefully a update to the new app will help with this.

i do see in docker now on latest update showing a breakdown of ports listening through testnet2 for pi app. My up time is still consistent with projections. im sure in time the app will allow me to confirm a ping as the old app did eventually :)

apon further review of the app showing not listening, and port checker by Author: donbear ports still not listening after following all directions :(

looks like my vpn has been blocking pi app even after allowing.. will look further..

regardless of what my rewards are i see that my up time % went up in last few days. With this information i recommend turning your vpn off if port forwarding is not working even after you allow pi and docker to function through it. You then can test your ports here https://pi-mods.de/nodeports/ . Then once your testnet2 node button is in the on position turn your vpn back on. I waited 40min and still no change on my troubleshoot node page information or connected to blockchain information under the node switch button on the node page.. more will be revealed

yes, i plugged pc directly into original gateway. and after turning off vpn port listening success. the app still doesnt show the amount of connections on input and output, but my up time is increasing as well as i did see more rewards today which was nice... i want my vpn to run so as of now i believe node is working after i turned vpn on.. ty
