Hi @Paulie420 It's most likely that the resolv.conf file is being overwritten by the Private Internet Access (PIA) VPN client, causing DNS resolution to fail.
How would one go about fixing this? I am using the openvpn script on debian. The connection is succesful and I have vpn connection for a couple of minutes before openvpn failing with "Could not resolve host name". I cant see that anything changes in the resolv.conf.
I've always used the GUI pia app, but I'm trying not to anymore. I'm on Arch linux, and theres an AUR package named private-internet-access-vpn that i installed, but I don't understand it...
These scripts 'work', but once connected I think DNS is failing... can't resolve hosts. What might I be doing wrong? I ultimately want a setup that lives in networkmanager-applet, and have a killswitch. Hmmmmm....
