For very advanced pieces I recommend that users move to a printed score. The problem with this it makes the note arrive much too fast if the scale is increased for complex pieces but for easy pieces it could move slower and have reduced scaling. But the advantages of a fixed scaling is that users get used to the speed to which matches the tempo of the piece.
When loading some more complex midi files, ie. those with very many notes per bar, the notes are too squashed up to be able to read easily.

Notes, sharp and flats mixed up When there are a lot of notes within a beat, and there are sharps of flats, the presentation of the notes are mixed up (see picture).
