Dashes on scatter plots move when dragging #97

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

The dashes on a dashed scatter plot line seem to shift when dragging a plot.
Not sure why this is,
but it would be nicer if they remained at a fixed phase.

It looks like the phase change is related to the drawing optimization that
drops invisible points from the drawing
path. Removing points from the start of the drawing path makes the drawing
start at a different point on the line
but it always starts with the same phase.

I see what you mean. It's no problem when the first point is on screen, and is
a problem when there is truncation
at the low end.

I don't know if there is a good solution to this. I think we will have to check
if the line is dashed inside the
scatter plot class, and if it is, include all points.
