mariadb instead of mysql? #12

MariaDB is a community-developed fork of the MySQL relational database management system intended to remain free under the GNU GPL.

In general, it's a drop-in replacement for MySQL. You can learn more about it here.

Ended up using mysql version 8.0 instead of mariadb in https://github.com/picatz/goldengirl/pull/24
