sysctl hardening/tuning #2

Using the sysctl tool you can configure kernel parameters at runtime; and by editing the /etc/sysctl.conf configuration file where persistent changes need to be written to.

You can use sysctl to both read and write sysctl data.

If given the time/resources, it might be helpful to configure things with this tool.
