sshfs gui not connecting to tunneled server #360

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Set up ssh tunnel to host using something like ssh -L 22:192.168.3.1:22
user@host.com
2. connect to localhost using the gui
3. enter password.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected result is a mounted volume what happens is repeated requests for
the password.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Client : svn build on a Macbook Pro running 10.5.3
Servers : 1) Cobalt Raq running a Raq 550 os
          2) Linkstation Pro NAS with stock firmware.

Please provide any additional information below.
If I use the command line to do sshfs-static-10.5 user@localhost:
/mnt/mountdir -o port=22 it correctly mounts the sshfs volume.

sshfs gui is an unsupported piece of open-source demo code. It's not a
supported product. It's not something
that's being developed, worked on, or maintained in any real way. Please don't
open issues for it. The FAQ
mentions this, so do some threads on the macfuse-devel forum. The download link
itself says "unsupported"
too.

By the way would you like a modified gui that allows the entry of port and
extra options ?
