As a DS I want to add tests for the decorators So that my decorators are reliable

Acceptance Criteria:

[x] Add tests for @step
[x] Add tests for @pipeline
[x] Docstring where it's necessary
[x] Add missing type hint

Definition of Done:

[x] All acceptance criteria are met.
[x] Tests are working.
[x] Code is reviewed and approved.
