Kindly describe the bug and include as much detail as possible on what you were doing so we can reproduce the bug.

Prerequisites:

VS Code had multiple windows open when it was last exited, so that it starts with multiple windows with Pieces activated
Pieces OS is not currently running on the machine (most consistently reproduced when Pieces is not set to autostart on login)

Upon opening VS Code...

Expected: One instance of the Pieces OS startup dialog opens to trigger Pieces to start, and the other VS Code windows detect it starting up or otherwise don't display startup dialogs.

Actual: A Pieces OS startup dialog appears for every VS Code window that opens, but only one actually works. The rest display a "file not found" error and must be closed manually.

My VSCode currently has three windows. The first popup successfully connected to Pieces and autoclosed, but these two popups remain until I close them:
