Unable to click "Check for Desktop App Updates" on Fedora 40 KDE #288

Kindly describe the bug and include as much detail as possible on what you were doing so we can reproduce the bug.

Hi there, I am currently running Fedora 40, Kernel Version 9.6.9-200.fc40. Whenever I click on the button highlighted in the picture below, that error message pops up, no matter what I do.

I am able to click the other button and it appears to function just fine.

@mack-at-pieces Not sure if this is supposed to ping out to the server to check the version or not, there is no built in functionality to check for snapcraft updates other than using the snap cli
