Because things can get stuck the download task could be restarted.
We don't have a list of downloaded files, but it does check of the file exist it should not download it again unless you took files out of the folder before the whole download would be completed.

That’s exactly what’s happening. I’m suggesting that Premiumizer should keep track of downloaded files in its database so that it doesn’t download these moved files again.
@piejanssens if you’re not intending to close this as wontfix, could you please reopen the issue?
Is this an issue with clicking the "remove samples" option? because I just had premiumizer download 980GB in a night premiumize says, and I only had like 150GB of stuff to download. My fair use is now basically screwed for a week. Lots of smart download mismatch stuff and downloads restarted in the logs it looks like?
Don't have much control on the python downloader pysmartdl , I only use Jdownloader it does not screw up a restarted task/download 😋
There was an issue with premiumize.me few weeks ago where stuff from other folders was downloaded.
Remove samples can't cause more downloads no, it just adds an extra check if the link should not be downloaded because it's a useless sample.
When downloading a large folder including many files from the cloud, Premiumizer restarts the download when some files are already removed while others are still downloading. This repeats until the Premiumize quota is depleted.
It would be great if Premiumizer would remember the files it has successfully downloaded and doesn't attempt to download them again.
