Maybe I should set up some "static" pages and use the Django Admin as a CMS for them?

List of reasons CN is a web app first.

No gate-keeping entity.
Update are immediate.
Speed of development
Existing knowledge
Set an example for other web apps.
Can have many of the same benefits of "native" apps such as limited functionality when offline.
