No Traffic #71

Hi, I have spent 2 days trying to get this plug in to work. When i log in and Open the .asr i see no traffic on my scope i switch to a different asr and the traffic returns???

Did you check that the ASR you use uses an SMR radar display? Have you tried starting from scratch with a new SMR radar display?

How would I know if the ASR I am using has a SMR Rader display. I do see the option and I am able to select it and the screen appears with the grey bar. I am trying to use in on the current Denver Sct file. They don’t use euroscope here is ther something I need to configure in the sct file

Check the DisplayTypeName in the ASR file. If you don't get the grey bar, you are not using the correct display type.

I have the grey bar just no traffic.

Yes sir I have spent two days going over every detail in that document

Please do not spam for help, you have also not provided your ASR, hence we cannot look over it. Please ensure you have selected the correct ICAO code for your airport in the top menu bar (grey bar) as per https://github.com/pierr3/vSMR/wiki/Setting-up-the-ground-radar

I did not mean to spam i sent the ASR file and got no response. Im sending again. Yes i did change the name of the airport in the gray bar to kden

Seems to be a user related issue (missing experience with ES, git, ...). No actual or reproducable error described. Suggest to close the issue therefore.

You can see the bar installed I am connected but no traffic showing. I am able to see traffic when not using this radar

Please seek help with other vatsim members or on the forums, this is not an actual issue with vSMR and most likely a misconfiguration, please read the wiki again. Closing this.

ive read the wiki 15 fucking times. step by step thats why i reached out. were you able to get it to work with the file i sent ? That would be a start to helping me

You are not a customer, this is not a customer service, thanks for swearing at the people who dedicate their free time to offer plugins and creations like this for free, in an open and transparent manner, this is not an email conversation, every reply that you post is publically visible on GitHub, your file was never sent, check the conversation again, we will not be helping you further due to your clear lack of respect for the work of the volunteers who make vSMR a reality.

Please don't waste the time of this community and its contributors with your unqualified comments. Before you harass anyone out of anonymity, demonstrate some dedication and professionalism.
