a bug in the tree based sample generator has been fixed
a new tree profile plot has been added
line endings have been converted to Linux line endings.
I am sorry for the last change, because it spoils the history of the files a bit, but it was such a mess with those line endings. I added a shebang "#! /usr/bin/env python3" to main.py, which does not work if the line ends with a carriage return.
