Can we have a transparant png? White = always transparent.

Depends, if it's about the background, yes no brainer. If we talk about the mask, text that comes on top to hide the inner extrusion, way more difficult at first thought as it asks for boolean operations on shapes, which is non trivial. I'll check if I can find a good library to help with this but I can't be positive right now.

When we make these things in Illustrator we knock the white type out of the shadow, so we can place it on top color fields. Would be great to have the same in the tool.

Note that I closed it because the engine is able to do it. But the interface for it is not there yet. Because it takes so long to compute, we've got to emulate it when in interactive mode and just trigger this kind of rendering at export time.
