constrained mode #3

We are thinking of having 2 modes, maybe controlled with a switch: 'Default mode’ (extrusion can not be more than a certain amount) and ‘Free mode’ (extrusion can now be unlimited). Is this possible?

Possible yes, but again an extra feature that'd be better put in a backlog. For a start what would be your preferred option? I'll start with that.

The thing is that in most cases the font should not be extruded more than this: schermafbeelding 2017-02-02 om 14 27 15

and we would like to see a lot of this as well: schermafbeelding 2017-02-02 om 14 28 54

But on the other hand it would mean an impoverishment to always limit the extrusion to that size, because sometimes it is nice to use the extreme version in a layout.

So one idea was to make it more difficult to drag by adding som delay for instance. But maybe this turns the hole thing into a crappy experience. The other idea was the modes. What do you think about this?
