For example, search for art or artw does not show Artwork theme, but adding one letter (i.e. artwo) does.

In general search there could do with a lot of improvements. searching for 'defib' should bring up the aed theme first:

or how bench doesn't bring up the benches theme by default

(Sure, sorting is also an issue that could be improved, and would be nice enhancement... )

But in this particular issue, it flat-out completely fails to find the theme when part of its name is entered, which is a bug.
