On Nov 10, 2016, Bat Fung posted a suggestion at the chrome webstore:

Concur with the idea of image support. Images add a lot to the conversation and if they can be included in the export, it would be fantastic.

Hey, is there any planned work for this? I could even pay for that, specially if it works with old chats...
