Add "Enable Debugging" setting - Fixes #402 #405

Fixes the debugging setting issue. Didn't have time for the expanded functionality (separation of loglevels) but I added it to the to-do list.

Thanks. The PR is much appreciated. Though, I am still debating about whether this should be merged before we have log filtering/redacting in place. So, if this sits here for a bit, it doesn't mean it's any less appreciated. :-)
