Sorry, catching up with this too late. If one wants the complete Kaya decomposition for both cases, one would also have to differentiate GDP_by_POP into MER and PPP. But I guess we don't look at this because of GDP/cap, and have both MER and PPP plotted elsewhere. So also fine to only differentiate the FE bit.
