I added reexport for backwards compatibility. Thanks for pointing out this option.

For adjustments in the packages you named:

edgeTransport will be taken care of in this PR: https://github.com/pik-piam/edgeTransport/pull/247
For remindmodel, i will take care of it in a PR related to switching to piamPlotComparison for compareScenarios (it will be done next week at latest)
