Automatic fundmental analysis

One of the well know services for this is simply wall street.

I'd love to be able to offer some at least basic automation for both sedar (Canada) and edgar (US).

Tools I've found thus far after some shallow digging:

• a script which supposedly auto-solves sedar captchas; no idea if it works
• document ingestor from the somewhat stale DIY-FilingsResearch project
• xbrl parser from the same author: python-xbrl (there's more too, ScraXBRL seems maintained and there are more legacy projects on GH)
