Index rebuilding in a seemingly infinite loop #7

Open darkvertex opened 6 years ago

I've had situations where it will go on an index building spree of scanning and building multiple times without me having initiated/called any of its commands.

Does it try to autorebuild under certain conditions? Could there be a preference to disable automatic building unless we call a command?

Looks like I have the same issue with VSCode-1.31.1 on Windows and Importmagic-0.1.3 In the status bar the message

Scan files: 20796

keeps going indefinitely.

This plugin is unusable for me. The Scan files spinner gets stuck and never finished indexing. The error in the debug tools is: /Applications/Visual Studio Code.app/Contents/Resources/app/out/vs/workbench/workbench.main.js:241 [Extension Host] Python Importmagic: ImportMagicProxy, Error "Cannot call write after a stream was destroyed" null t.log @ /Applications/Visual Studio Code.app/Contents/Resources/app/out/vs/workbench/workbench.main.js:241 /Applications/Visual Studio Code.app/Contents/Resources/app/out/vs/workbench/workbench.main.js:241 [Extension Host] rejected promise not handled within 1 second: ImportMagic can not start the process t.log @ /Applications/Visual Studio Code.app/Contents/Resources/app/out/vs/workbench/workbench.main.js:241 /Applications/Visual Studio Code.app/Contents/Resources/app/out/vs/workbench/workbench.main.js:1413 ERR ImportMagic can not start the process
