Impossible to run Mupen64plus "instruction not allowed" #545

Describe the problem:
I can't run Mupen64plus, I get the following error message:
instruction not allowed

My microprocessor is an AMD Sempron 2600+ which is not compatible with SSE2. Is 
SSE2 required to run Mupen64plus?

Don't have the actual requirements in my head right now, but you can always try 
one of the other video plugins (glide64mk2 for example). The video plugins 
should be the only ones using SSE right now. But we also had problems earlier 
with video drivers which were using SSE instructions in the X.org driver and 
therefore crashed mupen64plus.

It would be the best to create a backtrace and check which component caused 
this problem.

And btw. SSE is not a general requirement because you can also run mupen64plus 
on ARM(el) ;)
