Installation help for a beginner #3

Hello,

I'm not quite sure how to use this code for an office score tracker for fun at our work. I was searching for a way to keep track of scores and liked the way this program looks on gortpong.com Is there a simple way to install this somehow as I am unfamiliar with coding or development work. No idea what I'm doing with these files. I apologize.

Hey chatyak,

If you don't have any familiarity with coding or development work at all, it might be pretty tough for you to get this going as its own instance. With that said we should probably have some better docs for this repo anyways. No guarantees on a timeframe, but keep an eye on the repo for deployment instructions!

Hey chatyak, if you'd still like to try deploying this app, I'd suggest you head over to heroku.com and try deploying there. It's a free service, and their documentation is pretty good.

If you fork the project here to your own account, and then make a new project on your heroku account, you can link your heroku to your forked project and deploy to yourprojectname.herokuapp.com pretty easily.

Thanks for the response! I did sign up and forked it - then connected it in heroku and hit deploy - but when the page loads it says "We're sorry, but something went wrong.

If you are the application owner check the logs for more information."

Maybe I'm missing something obvious.

@chatyak Hmm, I'll have a look at this tonight or tomorrow and let you know if I can troubleshoot. . .
