Main repositories are not up-to-date (see README, installation section). Could you try to install from git instead? Meanwhile, I will check if I can add armv4 pre-build binaries to CI.

ok, i've got some additional context here:

• the ticket description should read "cannot install on armv7"; i was misremembering the processor in the system i was attempting to install to. i've got access to & can test builds on a raspberry pi 4 (which is armv7 when running a 32bit OS and armv8 when running a 64bit OS). i also have access to a raspberry pi zero W (which is armv4). i've updated the ticket description to be more accurate.
• i think that targeting armv4 is probably not worth the effort - relatively few devices will be using it, and it's got a significantly worse ecosystem of prebuilt binaries. targeting armv7 and armv8, however, would be really helpful.
• cargo install failed, but i was able to build from source on my raspi 4. it did require building a newer version of cmake from source than i could find in apt, and the build took ~45 minutes (slow network, 2GB RAM, slow processor).
