Vdirsyncer doesn't touch the contents of iCalendar files at all, so this can't be its fault. :P
That said, I assume you're synchronizing directly between two servers? Try synchronizing each of them to a local vdir, and check how appointments differ in their file content. I suppose Zimbra and Kerio somehow manage to write their ORGANIZER properties in incompatible ways. Also, since Zimbra is such a huge monolithic system, I think it's possible that Zimbra rejects the item simply because it doesn't know the email address associated with the ORGANIZER field. I have no idea what to do, I use neither of them.
You also might want to check this with Zimbra- and maybe Kerio-support.
Since there has been no activity for this issue, I am going to close it.

Hello! I am not sure whether this is a bug or not. When I try to sync Kerio to Zimbra (Caldav), vdirsyncer throws a exception and Zimbra gives me this error:
[aname=xx;ip=127.0.0.1;ua=vdirsyncer;] dav - sending http error 403 because: For an appointment, instance with ORGANIZER 'xxx@xxx.com' is not allowed. Main rule has no ORGANIZER
What can I do?
