Kernel panic on “Patchfinding” step #39

Open zqidev opened 2 years ago

Device: iPad Air, Generation 4 Version: iPadOS 15.2 - Fugu15.tipa installed via Trollstore 1.3.4

A kernel panic will occur on the Patchfinding step regardless of any combination of user-changeable settings. I think this might be because of the first oobPCI bug listed, but I’m very unsure. It happens even with airplane mode turned on, etc… Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, just letting you know there's a lot of people including me, who have this error and it probably has something to do with the way fugu15 is coded rather than anything related to the configuration you use.

Got it - Thank you so much. Just to clarify - this would mean that it’s impossible to fix this without touching the source code, right?

Same error

Yeah dude I am on the same iPad as you (15.3.1) but I think we either have to let him fix it or someone else like unc0ver has to and I don't think he is I mean someone here who knows there way around programs like this but it don't think that will happen.

As he mentioned, this isn’t made for end users…

Thomas20090425 commented 2 years ago

It’s not made for end users, seems like exploits does not want to work on iOS 15.1-15.3.1 (Or it could be the situation for partial devices)

I think you mean it isn't for anyone if it doesn't work with half the thing randomly kernel panics and will kernel panic with wifi
