Ugly and limited global options #51

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Clicking any game.
2.Selecting global options
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see a pretty, professional looking screen with options for
changing the default cIOS, setting and changing passwords, advanced
parental controls based on game rating, options for creating custom paths,
and a plethora of other features that are currently only available through
the tedious process of removing the memory card and using a file editor on
the computer. Instead I see ugly script with only a handful of limited
options. Really guys? Now how does that make sense? Especially since
USBloaderGX has had these features accessible from the actual program since
its conception. You have it down from a technical standpoint but PLEASE
make yourselves more respectable in the design aspects of the loader and
give us more global options. Take a look at the GX loader if you have to,
they got it right.

What version of the loader are you using?
55?

What is your System Menu version (e.g. 4.2u)?
4.1

What is your media type (HDD, USB Flash, SD/SDHC)?
HDD

How is your media formatted (wbfs, fat32, ntfs)?
fat32

Which cios are you using and which version (222, 249v??)?
222rev4

Please provide any additional information below.

Come on oggzee man. I didn't mean to bash you down like that but look: GX is
all form over function,
which is why I switched over to you. At the same time, I mis many features if
your competition because
you are all function over form, which is much better than vice versa, but
still. I, and many other users
would love to see a more complete list of global options to avoid the hassle of
removing and editing the
usb every time we want to change the password or try a new theme. Please at
least look into it, I'm
trying to help you expand your user base and create a better product here.
