Will not load config.txt from fat32 #54

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Using CFG v57a
2. Will not auto load Fat1 partition
3. Manual load partition Fat1, then will not open, or create a new
config.txt, nor will it see themes or covers from fat32

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
After manual mount of Fat32 usb HDD, goto global options hit 2 to save. It
says saving settings, then error sd:/ is not accessible. (no sd card in)

What version of the loader are you using?
57a

What is your System Menu version (e.g. 4.2u)?
4.2U

What is your media type (HDD, USB Flash, SD/SDHC)?
HDD

How is your media formatted (wbfs, fat32, ntfs)?
fat32

Which cios are you using and which version (222, 249v??)?
222 v4

Please provide any additional information below.
Seem like the loader is still checking the sd card for the settings, even
though its loaded from HDD.

upon further testing, this also happens with the 222 version of the .dol
I can load and save the settings to SD card, but in earlier versions, the
settings
and covers and such loaded just find from HDD

Did you set the config to load from HDD? You have to do that. It works fine
with my
FAT32 HDD, even when I have an SD Card in.
