Wii Backup Disc 1.31 loads to black screen #71

What steps will reproduce the problem?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Loading to the Wii Backup Disc recovery menu. A Black Screen

What version of the loader are you using?
v58a

What is your System Menu version (e.g. 4.2u)?
4.1u

What is your media type (HDD, USB Flash, SD/SDHC)?
USB HDD

How is your media formatted (wbfs, fat32, ntfs)?
wbfs

Which cios are you using and which version (222, 249v??)?
cIOS 249v14 and cIOS 250v20 base 57

Please provide any additional information below.
Using NeoGamma R9 B36 to load the Wii Backup Disc from my HDD works fine.

Does it work with any other usb loader?

It's not really needed, but why does it work on NeoGamma and not on CFG Loader?

To get it to boot, that software depends on IOS16, which is a STUB at v512. 
Nintendo Update Servers only have v512-STUB, you need v257... Thats like trying 
to run a dvd game that requires IOS57 when u deleted the IOS... N.U.S. does not 
offer v257, search the net

My IOS 16 is v257. It boots just fine on NeoGamma, but for some reason it goes 
to a black screen on CFG loader.

I just tried it on NeoGamma R9 B49 using cIOS249d2x[56]beta6 and 
cIOS250d2x[57]beta6 and it started up just fine. I also tried it in cfg-loader 
v69 using the same cIOS and it still just goes to a blank screen.

I've never been able to make it load through anything but NeoGamma or the Disc 
Channel (patched to IOS250 with DarkCorp).
