As of March 2024, it would appear Pinephone Pros are being shipped with the bootloader installed onto eMMC, not SPI.
This is fine for initial boot, but if a newfound but otherwise linux-savvy user were to attempt to install another operating system to try, they would find themselves dumbdounded as to why theyre suddenly unable to boot.
It would be nice if a note in the "Installing a different operating system" section about this being a case, together with a link on how to install some form of bootloader onto SPI, were added.
