I used ideas about parallel and series patch mode and thought about this UI.

• Patch 1-2 are the list of available patches.
• Exp Pedal is the list of parameters declared by the patch selected above plus a null value to not assign the Expression Pedal to a parameter. If the Patch declared the Expression Pedal parameter and this value is not null, this value overrides the patch declaration.
• Input Gain replace Sensitivity with decibel values which I find more meaningful than Low, Medium and High values. I prefer radio buttons because there are very few elements to display.
• Single-Dual Slot Mode radios allow to choose between Green-Slot only or Green-Slot + Red-Slot switching mode.
• Red-Green Slot are a list of execution mode with the following values
  • Patch 1
  • Patch 2
  • Patch 1 + Patch 2 (parallel)
  • Patch 1 -> Patch 2 (series)
  • Patch 2 -> Patch 1 (series)

I thought about preset values that could be sent to patches on slot activation. These preset values can be manually overridden with The Owl controls but will be reset on slot deactivation/reactivation process.

For execution modes Patch 1 + Patch 2, Patch 1 -> Patch 2 and Patch 2 -> Patch 1 The Owl does not have enough controls to configure each patch independently. In a simple configuration Green Slot - Patch 1 and Red Slot - Patch 2 you may want to configure Patch 1 with potentiometers values but don't want theses values applied to Patch 2. Or configuration Green Slot - Patch 1 and Red Slot - Patch 1 in order to use the same patch with completely different parameter values.

Controls behavior

• unchecking a checkbox empty its textbox
• when a number is typed in the textbox, it checks its checkbox
• if the checkbox is checked first, its textbox is filled with value 0
• numbers between 0 and 10 with 1 decimal sounds good to me

Controls visibility

• Textbox/Checkbox pairs are shown according to the selected Patch like how labels A,B,C,D,E are replaced with Patch names
• Rows are shown according to Slots execution mode

For execution modes Patch 1 + Patch 2, Patch 1 -> Patch 2 and Patch 2 -> Patch 1 The Owl does not have enough controls to configure each patch independently... ...but at least, we could be able to choose to control one of them with The Owl controls.

• Use Controls with patch should only displays/enables when one of these 3 execution mode is selected.
• Radio 1 maybe the default checked value
