why "Thus some features may not be implemented" with PMD

Ethdev library exposes APIs to use the networking functions of DPDK NIC devices. The bottom half part of ethdev is implemented by NIC PMD drivers. Thus some features may not be implemented.

Q: some features may not be implemented, shall we explain why?

A: I do not know exactly. I guess there are 2 reasons:

• Lack of time to implement every feature into DPDK (especially vendor specific features). It’s probably the main reason
• Perhaps, there are also sone limitations that make some drivers capabilities unable to be implemented in PMD mode
