Pysolar is a collection of Python libraries for simulating the irradiation of any point on earth by the sun. It includes code for extremely precise ephemeris calculations.
There seems to be a problem registering to the mailing list. I tried twice, by sending email to the address listed in the README.
I got the following reply from the mailer daemon:
Delivery incomplete
There was a temporary problem delivering your message to pysolar-discuss+subscribe@pysolar.org. Gmail will retry for 21 more hours. You'll be notified if the delivery fails permanently.
