integration is working but it is also not - 4 holidays show and i do not know where they are configured and i cannot add new ones

Hello all, i am hoping someone can help me. i am VERY late to the game and probably missed something very important. just a quick background on the issue. i originally setup Calenderific a long time ago following a guide that i do not remember whose it was at this time. at that time Calenderific could only be configured in the configuration.yaml and i configured the holiday sensors somewhere else i am guessing. and it has worked fine even up until today for those 4 holidays

fast forward to today, Calenderific was converted in one of the upgrades and can be configured in the GUI now. so here is what is happening for now..... I see calenderific in my devices and services and i see the 4 holidays that came over when HA was upgraded to allow it in the GUI. i still see in my configuration.yaml my Calenderific entry, API key (which i verified was correct), and state. however i do not see the 4 holiday sensors anywhere. they are not in my configuration.yaml. they are not in my sensors.yaml and i do not remember what guide i originally followed so i do not know where these holidays are actually configured??

the other issue i am having is i cannot add new holiday sensors. if i try and add it from the config flow i see this error:

No holidays found. Ensure that you have configured Calendarific with a valid country and api key. Please read the instructions.

as i said my config has the correct entries, my API is correct too and something must be working as 4 holidays are showing, despite me not knowing where they are coming from. can anyone please help me clean this all up?? i would be very appreciative
