thanks for the PR's @wtgtybhertgeghgtwtg - we just need to hold off here, we need to check that this doesn't break inter-relationships between dependents (in particular, pino and pino-noir)

The idea was to bump to the version the RC version of pino was using. I'm not sure how it'll work with the current version, though.
