Rules and Violation Reports (Bugs and Errors Rules)

Introduction

Pinoy LifeCraft is a forums where members/players discuss matters with each others. This leads to discussions about general topics, suggesting new elements, reporting bugs and errors, violation reports and off-topic.

However, with prior experiences as one of the forum's manager. Certain or similar topics are being repeated, generally by new or clueless members, despite being discussed and resolved multiple times in the past. Such as the applications for the recruitment of new staff members being closed and etcetera.

The listed rules are to be followed for discussions (forums), specifically to the Bugs and Errors Rules, in addition to the general forums.

General Rules

Every rules stated in this category applies to all forums category.

• In every forums category, never put your staff applications in any issues, may it be yours or others' issues. Meaning, this includes editing your issues into applications or commenting on issues with your applications. In addition, we staff will further discuss if applications forums are going to be up again, which is unlikely to happen yet. Failure to follow this rule may result in an instant closure to your issue without any particular warning or even worse.

• Respect should always be present in a discussion with others. Of course, any hostile or offensive words directed to others specially if obviously unironic are still prohibited. In any case, swear words are allowed as long as no one's offended. If you are feeling uncomfortable, you can kindly ask them to stop.

• Any way of vandalizing a forum category with issue spamming or comment spamming will result to several punishments, intentionally or not, we will take the offender down. This can happen with or without a warning so at some cases failure to adhere to this rule will result in the issues being closed or removed.

• It is against the forum rules to upload any images to an issue or comment that are meant for the purpose of trolling and as well as extremely pornographic materials.

• Avoid necroposting too much as it would pose some confusion, as a result, most issues would be closed if concluded unless there are issues that occurred which is a special case

• In creating an issue, if you made a mistake, do not create another issue. Instead, edit the current issue.

Bugs and Errors Rules

In reporting a bug or an error, as much as possible, please kindly bring as much evidence and proof as you can in proving that such a bug or an error exists.

• To avoid unintentional spamming, if someone already reported the bug by posting an issue, do not ever think of reposting the same bug report unless it occurred the second time after being fixed.

• If your items have been removed by auto clear lagg after dying, do not report this as a bug as we never considered this a bug and do not ask for backup items.

Rule Violation Reports

Please report any rule violations in this forum. Notifying us of such incidents is highly appreciated.

Additionally, kindly report any sockpuppets that you come across.

Also, an issue should be reported for actual rule-breaking in the forum, not every single little disagreement or personal distaste. Please send us the proof and link of the profile that broke one of our rules, in addition, extreme vandalism and trolling can and also should be reported.

Update:

Error reported n-game to op cortana by Gaccigung, Feb 4, 2018. Players unable to enter end/nether portal. Report forwarded to ath on the same day.

Bugs regarding players and opped users unable to enter nether and end portals within the faction game has been fixed with the addition of the mv-netherportals plugin. Configuration semi-complete.

Known issues:

• Players entering the end portal to go to the end do not spawn at the dragon site, instead spawn at larger islands closer to the end city. (currently working on this)

• Players entering the netherportal to get to the nether spawn at random location. Since Nether portals locations are based on overworld locations, this may not be an issue at all.

• After spawning in the nether there is no nether portal to return back to the overworld. Currently working on this issue

Sign removal, bug.

Known issue: After destroying a sign, it causes a blank line to be added to the global chat box

-regardless of world this bug appears -untested if issue is true for member level players -further investigation of the matter required, if issue affects chatcontrol plugin or if it is an outdated essentialsx issue.

Feb 13, Server started crashing reported by Admin Kaoru_24 Can't connect to Directleaks server error code: 0x1

-temporarily removing hdb plugin for fix -restarted server, running at 100% -error fixed

-Update Feb 16 Hdb server is still down and reuploading file is not advised as server crash will be re-occur.

Known Issue: some items from hdb database plugin may not work as intended due to the removal of the plugin.

Feb 16:

Plugins: Viaversion and Viabackwards installed onto server to open a wider variety of clients onto the server.

Issues:

Known issue, for lower versions; half blocks such as trapdoors...etc may only be placed on the lower blocks.

Unknown if there are other issues that may arise; continuing observation.

Feb 17-18 and before Feb 17:

Plugin of Topic: MoreVaultPlus, a storage-type plugin for storing something that might be useful for the future, probably installed due to lack of storage space, only having enderchest previously.

Scenario: I've found recently where the items I stored in my vault disappeared for unknown reasons.

Issue: Items stored in the vault sometimes disappear, this strange behavior was believed to exist at some point, even myself.

• Whether this issue exists or not, it is under observation.
• The observation and investigation is on slow progress as it occurs to some players and on the other hand, it doesn't to some others, this can be interpreted in any way possible and we don't have any leads to the cause.
• An update will be made on this comment if any new events or evidences related to the issue occurred.

A SoldierCraft issue occurred. Scenario: When I was playing with Khanzo in SoldierCraft against Morbet and Akatsuki0125

Issue: Starting items did not appear for Morbet and Akatsuki0125 at random times. Items such as the default pistol, default knife and shop menu item. Sometimes defuse kit if the player is on the good side.

Reported by helper Khanzo and admin Kaoru_24 Issue: deopped players unable to use join signs in minigames such as soldiercraft and hide and seek .

-adjusted spawn.protection in server properties to 0 so that deopped players will be able to join minigames using the join signs. (more observation and testing is required to accurately check if issue is fixed)

CE enchant wings does not allow player level access users to fly within faction territory. upon checking player level users are not able to fly if latency is above 400 once client syncs with server and latency is below 400, flight is possible with the use of the CE enchant granted that it is within faction territory of the player.

as this issue is latency based, issue itself is closed however added to archive for future information with regards to latency and flight.

possible adjustment is to lessen server # of chunks loaded to decrease lag load however still looking into better optimization solutions.

-removed custommobs plugin replaced with mythic mobs (now for testing) -considered closed as plugin has been removed

Due to a server cpu spike when the used server memory reaches 1800mb, server performance suffers, runnning at 100% and then crashes.

to alleviate the load, removed the following hardly-used plugins to optimize server performance:
