Pacific Region; links to 5 different biannual surveys located here: https://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/86af7918-c2ab-4f1a-ba83-94c9cebb0e6c https://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/557e42ae-06fe-426d-8242-c3107670b1de https://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/780a1c02-1f9c-4994-bc70-a0e9ef8e3968 https://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/5ee30758-b1d6-49fe-8c4e-5136f4b39ad1 https://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/d880ba18-8790-41a2-bf73-e9247380759b data contact: Maria Surry (Maria.Surry@dfo-mpo.gc.ca) note: Maria said that the methods are consistent across all of these surveys, but the survey times vary. We should consider averaging across two/three year periods to get consistent coverage, or separate data trimming for map-making vs. distribution centroids.

Shellfish Surveys - Leslie Barton (Leslie.Barton@dfo-mpo.gc.ca) stated that they are hoping to publish the Small Mesh Multi-species surveys (shellfish survey data) later this year. She is currently waiting on publication of a technical report, containing these data. Check back in late fall/early winter.

These data were binned into 2 year bins to maximize consistency in spatial coverage across years. The bins start with 2005-2006 and continue through to the present. 2003-2004 was dropped due to low spatial coverage, as was 2019. 2019-2020 may be included when 2020 data become available.
